The Hirschmann OWL 4G is an Industry 4.0 and Industrial IoT Cellular Router and Gateway optimised for 4G applications with edge pre-computing.
Redundancy provided by dual SIM card switch over feature and two Ethernet ports guarantees the highest network availability in harsh conditions, along with the integrated firewall to address growing security concerns.
The unit has a web interface for configuration and open LINUX platform for advanced customisation. In addition, reliable remote access minimises time consuming onsite visits and saves costs by enabling customers to remotely monitor and control widely distributed machines, industrial equipment and mobile applications.
