Amplicon raises £5000 for local charities

In 2022/2023, Team Amplicon has continued to raise money for various local charities. Among their many fundraising initiatives, Amplicon supported Waders, Age UK, and Martlets. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of Team Amplicon, an outstanding £5,000 has been raised through our charity box scheme, and this has been split between the three amazing organisations.

For every £10,000 order booked, they receive a £10 token and they have the choice to select any of the three annually chosen charity boxes. During the past 8 years, this initiative has continued to be one of the principal ways for Amplicon to support their local community. During this period, they have managed to raise over £33,000. Amplicon is committed to maintaining their fundraising by extending their support in this coming year to three more charities: WRAS East Sussex wildlife rescue, KnowDementia (West Sussex, Brighton & Hove) and Martlets.

Jenny Freeman, Fundraising Manager at Waders said: “We are so grateful to everyone at Amplicon for their fantastic fundraising efforts. These vital funds will help support our work with wildlife and domestic animals across the local area. Without the support of local businesses Wadars couldn’t continue so we want to say a huge Thank You to all the team.”

Hayley Kenward, Senior Fundraising Executive said: “The money you raise means the world to us. We want you to know that you are helping people in your community affected by terminal illness make the most of the precious time they have. Your support will make it possible for patients and their loved ones to access the specialist local support they need, from clinical care to counselling and bereavement support. Thank you from everyone at Martlets”
