LXI (LAN eXtensions for Instrumentation) is an instrumentation platform based on industry standard Ethernet technology. The LXI standard defines the communications protocols for instrumentation and data acquisition systems using Ethernet. It was specially developed to offer the size and integration advantages of modular instruments without the constraints and costs of card cage architectures.
LXI offers flexibility by incorporating a variety of current and future instrument form factors, lower costs and smaller footprint by eliminating the card cage, and increased security through the use of a private LAN.
Amplicon offer a range of LXI compliant devices, including oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeters and data acquisition systems. These devices include a web browser for control and access to measurements, along with IVI.COM drivers for integration with automated test programs.
