The EtherWAN ED3541 is a hardened Ethernet Extender suitable for installation in harsh environments such as roadside cabinets, lamp-posts and other uncontrolled environments.
The unit can operate at speeds up to 100Mbps and over distances of 2.6km - please see the datasheet for line rate versus distance table.

The EtherWAN ED3541 must be used in pairs. Alternatively, an EtherWAN ED3541 can be used in conjunction with an ED3501 - a lower cost version for office environments. This solution is ideal for systems that require only an office grade device at the central location and a hardened extender for field installation.

The EtherWAN ED3541 has a -40 to +75°C operating temperature, redundant PSU inputs and a rugged DIN-rail enclosure for professional installation.
