Amplicon raises £500 for Action Medical research

On June 28th, Amplicon has taken part in the charity event Action Cream Teas, organised by the children’s charity Action Medical Research; a UK-wide charity funding vital research to help sick and disabled babies and children. The event has raised £500.

To support the vital work of this fantastic charity, Amplicon ordered a Cream tea box for all members of staff. The box included 2 delicious scones, Cornish clotted cream topped off with strawberry preserve and Yorkshire tea!

Everyone at Amplicon loved the treat and further contributed towards the funds for this great cause.  What a brilliant excuse to get together with colleagues whilst supporting the work of this important charity.

All the money collected will be used to fund a broad range of cutting-edge medical research for babies, children and young people.

Action’s Head of Events Emma Morgan said: “We are absolutely thrilled to hear about Amplicon’s fundraising efforts and would like to thank all of the staff for their kind support!

“This was the sixth year for our national ‘Cream Teas’ campaign, with thousands of boxes being delivered to homes and businesses across the UK. We hope everyone got a chance to take time out of their busy schedule to enjoy the treats, knowing that their donations will help fund our fight for tiny lives.”
