Andrew Greer at 19 year of age will undertake a 4 year apprenticeship of vocational studies and a college course to attain formal qualifications in electronics, before joining Amplicon’s team as a fully qualified Configuration Technician.
Amplicon worked closely with SIGTA (an UK association specialising in the training and development of people in the engineering and manufacturing sector), to select a suitable candidate for the Amplicon apprentice scheme. Andrew was considered by SIGTA to be an outstanding candidate with exceptional exam results who would benefit from nurturing this potential and his career with a dynamic company such as Amplicon.
Gina Citroni, Amplicon CEO commented “Amplicon believes a company is only as good as the people that work in it. Therefore it is critical that all local employers look to support apprenticeship schemes as not only an investment in a highly skilled and motivated workforce, but as an investment in the future of their own business.”
