Amplicon has enhanced its range of embedded computing solutions by partnering with QNX Software Systems, a market leader in the design and supply of real-time operating system software, development tools, and services for embedded applications.
With the introduction of Amplicon's new Impact-E range of industrial computers the partnership with QNX was an obvious step in the development of a total solution package for system integrators and OEMs. Working hand-in-hand with QNX, Amplicon will provide embedded developers with a comprehensive range of integrated, time-saving embedded solutions.
Richard Munson, Amplicon's Industrial Computing Senior Sales Engineer commented: "This partnership is great news for our customers. It places Amplicon clearly at the forefront of the embedded market."
"The QNX Neutrino RTOS offers a fault-tolerant, dynamically upgradeable architecture engineered for mission-critical, 24/7 applications. As a result, it offers the ideal software platform for Amplicon's rugged industrial computers," said Linda Campbell, Director of Strategic Alliances at QNX Software Systems. "As a result of this alliance, Amplicon's customers can now leverage QNX technology field-tested in everything from nuclear reactors to the Space Shuttle."
QNX will be supporting Amplicon at Electronica 2006 (Stand 746, Hall A6) where the new Impact-E and Ventrix-W will be unveiled. Full consultancy from Amplicon will be offered as standard with all embedded applications.
