#39;Plans for International business sales to surpass those of the UK within 3-5 years'
For the first time in the company's 33 year history, Amplicon's international sales have reached over 1 million Euro. Surpassing its 1 million Euro target with two months still remaining in the financial year, is a historic achievement for Amplicon. These outstanding results represent a strong vindication of the company's ongoing strategic expansion into the European industrial computing market.
International sales have been a major focus for Amplicon. With plans to become the leading supplier of industrial computers in Europe, the company has seen 100% growth from this facet of the business over the last three years. Sustained growth in key European countries has ensured budget-exceeding results, with no indication of a slow down in the market or a plateau in the sales figures. The demand for high-quality industrial computers during this period exceeded the company's own high expectations, especially for Amplicon's Ventrix, Impact, Impact R and Senses series.
Douglas Saunders, International Sales Manager at Amplicon, commented, "It has been a huge mountain to climb. Only three years ago, we had not even considered exporting this type of product, but we now have a dedicated team of distributors who share our ambition to propel Amplicon to the number one position in the European marketplace." "The level of growth in international sales underlines the demand for high-quality products throughout the European Union. There are few truly global suppliers of this type of product, and Amplicon can now consider itself among the best. Our plans for the future are equally ambitious, and we will not be content until international business sales exceed that of the UK. If the growth continues at the present rate, this will be achieved within the next three to five years," added Gina Citroni, Commercial Director at Amplicon.
