The use of industrial cellular networks for data transfer between PCs, instruments and machines is rapidly taking off. The reducing cost of data transfers and improved network reliability means that "Telematics" or “Machine to Machine (M2M)”has become a hot topic for many integrators and OEMs.

Amplicon offer a variety of cellular routers and modems to access both serial (RS232, RS422 and RS485), IP / Ethernet based instruments, as well as digital I/O interfaces in the field. From a simple GSM modem to an advanced 3G / 4G router with traffic management functions, we can offer a wide range of solutions for most applications.

Amplicon can also offer SIM cards with static private or public IP addresses, customised tariffs and VPN connections. Many of our 3G and 4G routers have been pre-tested with these SIMs allowing us to offer complete M2M solutions with confidence. We also have 3G / 4G routers available for evaluation for qualified opportunities.
