Distributed serial I/O

This section includes distributed I/O modules for data acquisition which use serial RS485 to communicate with your computer.

Signal conditioning of the input signal allows process signals such as temperature, volts, mA and digital signals to be measured and isolated from your PC.

 Modbus RTU or ASCII protocols are used to send measurements and output signals over serial RS485. 

Up to 256 remote data acquisition modules may be connected in multi-drop mode to one serial connection on a PC, each of which may have 16 input channels. This allows large networks to be created for monitoring and control of process plants or factory automation.
