Will Glyn started working for Amplicon in September 2011 as a Trainee Industrial Computing Sales Engineer. He began his career building computers for a small local computing firm, but he was quickly moved into sales, where he was soon put in charge of the company’s sales and new builds.
Role
Will's main responsibilities are:
Sell Amplicon products by building strong relationships within the existing customer base and by identifying new opportunities.
Work as part of the business team with Product Management, Purchasing and Technical Support personnel, to ensure a full sales, support and service offering is provided to Amplicon customers.
Ensure that team and individual sales targets and objectives are achieved and exceeded.
Accept and process all incoming enquiries, formulate solutions, quotations and responses within customer-defined time scales with timely follow up bringing them to a positive conclusion.
Consult with colleagues working in different departments to ensure customer requirements are met to a top standard and that other opportunities which may assist customers’ productivity are found.
Manage customer complaints and objections in conjunction with the service and support teams.
