Danny is Amplicon's Industrial Computing Sales Engineer, who joined the team in January 2010. He graduated from Brighton University with a 2:1 in BEng Mechanical Engineering, where he was also awarded Project Prize of the Year by IMechE.
He has always held an interest in computers and became interested in a career in sales after working as a Sales Engineer at a small energy survey company after university.
Role
Danny's main jobs are to:
Sell Amplicon products by building strong relationships within the existing customer base and by identifying new opportunities.
Work as part of the business team with Product Management, Purchasing and Technical Support personnel, to ensure a full sales, support and service offering is provided to Amplicon customers.
Ensure that team and individual sales targets and objectives are achieved and exceeded.
Accept and process all incoming enquiries, formulate solutions, quotations and responses within customer-defined time scales with timely follow up bringing them to a positive conclusion.
Ensure customer orders, enquiries, quotations and contact information are entered accurately and promptly to the computer system.
Manage customer complaints and objections in conjunction with the service and support teams.
