The SW5000 series has inherited all of the best features of its predecessor, the GW51W-MAXI, whilst adding RoHS compliance, WPA2 encryption and a wired Ethernet port for simple configuration. This makes the SW5000 products the most cost-effective and feature rich wireless device servers on the market today.

In 'infrastructure' mode, many SW5000s can communicate with a host PC via an Access Point. In 'ad-hoc' mode, a pair of SW5000s can be configured to communicate directly with each other - what goes in one end, comes out of the other!

SW5001 is a single serial port (RS232/422/485) version.
SW5002 has 2 x serial ports (RS232/422/485).
