The SE5400 series device servers are rackmount serial to Ethernet converters that provide 8 or 16 channels of RS232/422/485 connectivity. The units are designed to provide TCP/IP network connectivity for barcode scanners, PLCs, HMIs, CNC machines and any other device with an RS232 or RS422/485 interface. TCP server, TCP client, UDP and Virtual COM modes of operation are all included along with dual LAN ports for redundant network connectivity.
