The Digi One IA is a serial to Ethernet converter designed for use with any Industrial device with an RS232, RS422 or RS485 interface. Typical examples include PLCs, RTUs, motors, drives and bar-code readers. The unit has extremely low latency compared with many competing device servers and as such will work in many more applications with critical turnaround times. Its Class 1, Div 2 rating as well as DIN-rail mount capability and 9 to 30Vdc power range (on screw terminals!) make this the ideal device server for all 'serious' industrial applications.
