The PowerTrans (PT) series switches are designed to provide high performance Ethernet switching in transport and utility applications. The range will have EN50121-4 approval for rail applications, NEMA TS2 for traffic applications, IEC61850-3 for substation environments and DNV for marine applications once all additional testing is complete. This is in addition to 5 year warranty and a wide -40 to +85°C operating temperature across the range.
There are 4 variants in the PT series:
PT-7828 - 24 + 4(gigabit) layer 3 modular managed switch
PT-7728 - 24 + 4(gigabit) layer 2 modular managed switch
PT-7710 - 10 port layer 2 modular managed switch with gigabit capability
PT-7324 - 24 port layer 2 modular smart switch with gigabit capability
