The DX40 series of routers provide an ideal gateway between layer 2 networks in industrial environments. With a wide temperature range and rugged construction these routers can be used to build IP networks in substation environments, military applications and many other harsh environments.

The DX series has exceptional software features including static routing, OSPF, RIP and RIP-II as well as SPI firewall and IPsec and SSL VPNs. The serial ports have Modbus and DNP support and the box supports Modbus serial to Modbus/TCP conversion.
