Used in pairs, these units will extend existing Ethernet network connections up to 1.8km without the need for costly fibre-optic or dedicated LAN-grade cabling.
Analogue telephone twisted pair cable or an old run of RS485 cabling can be used to overcome the 100m distance limit of Ethernet. Remote outstations can become easily and cost-effectively networked with this ingenious application of DSL technology.
Use in conjunction with the 2172R ruggedised units for installation in harsh environments.
