Our major area of involvement is with single-strand fibre-optic media converter solutions that allow for bi-directional Ethernet traffic at 100 or 1000Mbps over a SINGLE strand of fibre. WDM enabled media converters can reduce the weight and size of umbilical cables or  increase the capacity of existing umbilicals without a change in mechanical design.
