Loop powered transmitters

A loop powered transmitter is a device that takes it power and transmits the output signal over the same 2-wires.

This industry standard design reduces installation costs, while still providing isolation and signal conditioning of the measured signal.

Many of these devices may be configured for different input voltages or different thermocouples by using DIP switches on the modules.

The 4-20mA isolators shown here do not use on-board microprocessors and can be recalibrated easily using zero and span potentiometers.
