Rackmount Expansion

Amplicon and Magma have teamed up to provide a range of 4U rackmount Ventrix expansion systems. Powered by Magma, these systems incorporate Amplicon industrial chassis and power supplies, to deliver greater robustness,  reliability and are even more cost effective.

Magma technology allows plug-in cards to be added externally to the PC, but appear as if they were plugged directly into the system. Rackmount expansion systems are available for PCI, PCI-X and PCI Express cards in a variety of form factors.

PCI and PCI-X expansion is ideal for supporting legacy cards in newer PCI Express based servers and PC’s. These systems support PCI, PCI-X I, PCIe, CardBus and ExpressCard host interface cards.
 
PCI Express expansion systems provide further card expansion for high end industrial PC’s and servers. Additional features such as network ports, SAS controllers or high end graphics can be easily and seamlessly added to your system. PCI Express systems require a PCI Express x8 host interface card.
