This range has become ever more popular as designers realise the versatility and cost-effectiveness they offer. Ready-to-run out of the box, they have Linux, Win CE or Win XPe pre-installed and come supplied with a complete software development support package. The development support package includes a boot loader, device drivers, cross compiler, debug server, web server (see the datasheets for the full listings).
For OEMs a custom front panel design service is available. Amplicon also offer bespoke software development. This enables you to give end users a dedicated solution for their particular requirements. Also, once software has been written, it can be deployed across many embedded unit boxes so system duplication from one site to the next becomes very simple.
