Research projects often require tens or hundreds of channels to be monitored at the same time, and analysed against each other in real-time. Processing large numbers of input signals is not easy when using a Windows based operating system, which often has to produce graphs, send emails and a multitude of other tasks.
We are able to offer a range of Data Acquisition Processing (DAP) boards that use their own microprocessor and RAM, to run a real-time operating system on-board. They are able to process hundreds of analog and digital signals, in real-time, including filtering, PID control and FFT maths. This leaves your PC free to run graphs and reports without requiring the fastest processors available.
