Amplicon's NDiS series of media players occupy a depth of less than 5cm making them ideal for retrofitting to the back of displays or for use in kiosks with limited space. By avoiding the typical 'box' shape of a standard PC and using the enclosure as a heat-sink, the NDiS series performs as a very versatile and highly reliable media player. Fanless operation increases the life expectancy of the product meaning that costly site visits will not be necessary for many years after installation.
The units have USB2.0 ports and a Gigabit LAN interface for receiving media updates and have a VGA or DVI output for displays up to 46" (depending on resolution). The systems can be supplied with Windows or Linux pre-installed depending on the required choice of Digital Signage application software.
