AWK-5222 is an industrial grade Access Point with dual radios. Radio 1 can be set for 802.11b/g operation and Radio 2 can be set for 802.11a/b/g operation. The 5222 leverages the 2 separate RF bands to provide redundant wireless bridge capability - a feature rarely found in APs and very useful for mission-critical industrial applications.

'Turbo roaming' allows fast roaming between APs when the 5222 is in client mode of operation. This means that mobile devices will properly associate and disassociate with APs as they pass through large industrial sites. This is useful when adding WLAN capability to devices such as cranes, fork-lift trucks and vehicles.
