The AWK-4121 supports 'Turbo Roaming' making it ideal for building large networks where wireless clients regularly move around - for example cranes in dockyards or forklift truck in a warehouse. Handover can be slow between standard Access Points so Turbo Roaming is the ideal solution for wireless Industrial Automation. The 4121 has a long range capability able to transmit up to 10km in prime conditions.
The unit employs M12 connectors to make sure cables are not accidentally un-plugged and has integrated digital inputs and outputs for on-site monitoring and alarms.
