The Wireless products in this section all use 802.11 based protocols to provide Ethernet connectivity without wires.

Amplicon provide 2 key product types for industrial automation applications:

1) Access Points (APs) are used to build wireless networks, providing a gateway between the wired and wireless portions of the network. Amplicon's APs are hardened products for use in vehicles, outdoors and in harsh environments.

2) Serial to WLAN converters convert a dumb RS232, RS422 or RS485 instrument into a wirelessly enabled device. Also known as wireless device servers, they can be used autonomously to build serial data bridges or used in conjunction with wireless access points to build complex wireless data distribution systems.
