The Digi One IAP represents the next generation in Device Servers for industrial and PLC users. This is one of the first products of its kind to be able to convert between a variety of serial and Ethernet based protocols providing connectivity between PLCs and instruments from different vendors. It also has the capability to capture ASCII data from bar code scanners / swipe readers and act as a proxy to serve the data in the required protocol. This is known as ASCII to protocol translation or ASCII import and can be extremely useful when making additions to existing industrial networks.
