The CP-168EL-A is an eight port, industrial-grade, RS-232 serial communication solution for PCI Express systems, featuring advanced communication functions to provide a high degree of control. The on-board chip set has been optimised for increased CPU performance, improving the communication throughput and decreasing load on the host PC. The unit also benefits from a small form factor PCB, which can be fitted into a standard or low profile PCI Express slot.  A wide range of operating systems are supported by the board including UNIX, Linux and all Windows variants.
