The DX1000 series products are available in 2 variants, the DX-1000-IR and DX1000-TS. The DX1000-IR is a fully functional Industrial router with 5 Ethernet and 12 serial ports whereas the TS version is a low cost version with some routing functionality removed designed to act as a 12 port terminal server.

The DX series has exceptional software features including static routing, OSPF, RIP and RIP-II as well as SPI firewall and IPsec and SSL VPNs. The serial ports have Modbus and DNP support and the box supports Modbus serial to Modbus/TCP conversion.
