The 3488 products are modern GPIB boards designed for fast bus transfers and maximum compatibility with Test & Measurement instruments. The LPCI-3488A is a new board suitable for 3.3V or 5V PCI busses and fully backward compatible with its predecessor, the PCI-3488.

These cards are fully compatible with existing GPIB-32.DLL, NI-488.2 and VISA based applications. This means that these cards can be used with major 3rd party software packages such as LabVIEW and Agilent TestExec.
